Our Journey from Pewamo, MI
The Vision Begins
Founded by the JEM team with a single truck and a fundamental vision: to provide Michigan businesses with a transportation service that prioritizes personal accountability over volume.
Regional Expansion
Recognizing the need for agile shipping, we expanded into dedicated LTL (Less Than Truckload) services, supporting the local Michigan manufacturing community.
Strategic Asset Acquisition
We solidified our presence in Pewamo by acquiring our first intensive warehouse facility at 2200 S Pline Rd, expanding our footprint to include professional storage and distribution.
Leading the Tech Shield
Today, J E M Transportation specializes in high-stakes logistics, including data center equipment and battery manufacturing freight, utilizing specialized flatbeds and cross-border capabilities.
Our Strategic Home Base
Our headquarters and primary warehouse are strategically located in Pewamo, MI, 48873. This central hub grants us unparalleled access to the state's critical industrial corridors and major highways.
By situating our operations here, we ensure efficient regional turnaround and seamless national distribution. We aren't just a dot on a map; we are the engine room for our clients' North American supply chains.
